LG Smart TVs run webOS, LG’s proprietary operating system. Since webOS 5.0 (2020), the LG Content Store offers a selection of native IPTV apps. For older models or to access additional apps, an external streaming box remains the most reliable option.

Method 1 — Native Apps via LG Content Store

SS IPTV for webOS

  1. Press the Home button on your LG Magic Remote.
  2. Go to LG Content Store (bag icon).
  3. In the search bar, type SS IPTV.
  4. Select the app and press Install.
  5. Once installed, open SS IPTV from your home screen.
  6. Under Settings → Playlist, enter your IPTV X France M3U URL.
  7. Save and reload to see your channels.

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) for webOS

SIPTV is a paid alternative (one-time purchase ~$5.99) known for its stability on webOS.

  1. Install SIPTV from the LG Content Store.
  2. Note the MAC address shown at the app’s first launch.

Audio Lag on Sports Channels

In the IPTV app’s audio settings, set the Audio Delay to -200 ms. On webOS, also go to Sound Settings → A/V Sync and adjust as needed.
