Choose your platform, follow the steps, then copy the required information without risk of error.
Search IPTVX and purchase. The same purchase installs on your iPhone, iPad and Apple TV under one Apple ID, and Family Sharing extends it to the household.
Choose to add a playlist, pick Xtream Codes, and enter the server URL, username and password from your activation email.

Pair a Bluetooth keyboard, or tap the notification that appears on your iPhone when a text field is focused on the Apple TV. Either beats swiping character by character with the remote.
Enable sync so favourites follow you between devices. Then set the adult category lock, and on a family device add a Screen Time restriction on top of it.
On Apple Silicon Macs, IPTVX installs from the App Store directly. Sign in with the same Apple ID and the account you added on iOS is already there.
iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Silicon Macs.
iPhone and iPad on current iOS and iPadOS, Apple TV on tvOS, and Macs with Apple Silicon through the App Store. Intel Macs are not supported. There is no Android version and no Windows version — if you need those, use IPTV Smarters Pro, which covers both.
Xtream Codes — it brings the guide and the VOD library with it.
Xtream Codes gives you categories, video on demand and the programme guide in one authenticated connection, and it picks up channels we add without any action from you. M3U produces a flat list with no guide unless you supply a separate EPG URL. Use M3U only if you have a specific reason to.
No — one purchase from Apple, no recurring fee.
IPTVX is a paid app with a single up-front price and no in-app subscription. Because it is an ordinary App Store purchase, Family Sharing covers the whole household from one payment, and reinstalling on a new device costs nothing. The purchase is made from Apple and is not connected to your IPTV X Hub plan, so we cannot refund or extend it.
Yes, though installing on the Apple TV is better for long viewing.
AirPlay works and is the quickest way to get a stream onto the TV. The catch is that the phone stays in the loop: an incoming call, a low battery or someone walking out of Wi-Fi range interrupts playback. For a full match or a film, install IPTVX on the Apple TV itself so the box handles the stream and the phone is free.
Wi-Fi band first, then Low Power Mode on iOS.
Confirm the Apple TV is on 5 GHz rather than a congested 2.4 GHz network, or better, plug it into ethernet — it has a port. If you are AirPlaying from an iPhone instead, check that Low Power Mode is off, because it throttles the wireless radio and produces exactly this symptom. Restarting the Apple TV clears a surprising number of one-off playback faults.
Yes on both, when the channel provides them.
With an Xtream Codes login the guide populates automatically; the first download takes a few minutes because it covers several days across the whole line-up. Catch-up appears on channels that carry an archive — scroll back in the guide and play the entry. Channels with no archive marker do not offer it, and no setting in the app will change that.
Yes, through iCloud, on the same Apple ID.
Turn on sync in the app’s settings and your favourites, recently-watched list and preferences move between every device signed into the same Apple ID. It is the main reason to choose IPTVX over a cross-platform player in an all-Apple household. Sync is not instant — give it a minute after a change before checking the other device.
Yes — it is reviewed and distributed by Apple.
IPTVX is sold on the App Store, which means it has been through Apple’s review process. It is a media player: it plays whatever stream you configure, and it takes no position on what that stream is. Responsibility for the legality of the content sits with the supplier and the viewer under local law. Adult categories on IPTV X Hub are for adults only and we expect the category lock to be used on any shared device.

If your phone, your tablet and your TV box are all Apple, IPTVX is the least friction you will find. Favourites and recently-watched sync through iCloud, so a channel you pin on the iPhone is pinned on the Apple TV. If your household is mixed, that advantage evaporates and IPTV Smarters Pro — which runs on everything — is the more sensible default.
IPTVX is a paid App Store app with a single up-front price. There is no recurring charge and no in-app subscription. It is bought from Apple and shared across your family group like any other App Store purchase, which means one payment can cover the household. As always, that payment is separate from your IPTV X Hub plan.
You have two routes to the big screen. AirPlay from an iPhone or iPad is instant and needs nothing extra, but it holds the phone hostage — a call or a notification can interrupt the stream. Installing IPTVX on the Apple TV itself is the better arrangement for anything longer than a few minutes, because the box does the work and the phone is free.
Entering a server URL with the Apple TV remote is genuinely painful. Two shortcuts: pair a Bluetooth keyboard, or start typing in the field and let the iPhone notification take over the input. Both are much faster than swiping through the on-screen keyboard, and both reduce the mistyped-URL support tickets we see from Apple TV setups.
IPTVX has its own category lock, and on iOS it also respects Screen Time restrictions at the system level. For a family device, setting both is worth the extra minute — the app-level lock hides the categories, and Screen Time stops the app being reinstalled around it.
